Escape to the North Wales Countryside

A stay at The Bellringers Cottage lets you get away from it all in the pretty and unspoilt village of Llandegla. From the moment you step through the door and see the welcoming hamper you know you can relax and enjoy your time here.

The recently refurbished cottage has retained its character and many original features including exposed beams and stone walls and an inglenook fireplace in the sitting room.

In the heart of the north east Wales countryside, The Bellringers Cottage is the ideal base to explore the Clwydian Range AONB, the Dee Valley or further afield into north or mid Wales. If you fancy a change of scene then the market town of Mold is nearby and Chester, Llangollen and Wrexham are all within a half hour’s drive.

The cottage is perfect for up to 4 people with double and twin bedrooms and a double walk-in shower. Downstairs is the cosy sitting room with log burner and a fully equipped kitchen diner. The whole cottage has been refurbished to a very high standard to ensure your complete comfort during your stay.

Our Cottage

Victorian charm with modern facilities

Church Terrace was built around 1866 at the same time as St Tecla’s Church across the road was being reconstructed. It is a row of four pretty stone cottages built originally as workers’ houses for Bodidris Hall. Number 1 in the terrace was the original police house with the first letter box in the village. Offa’s Dyke path, the long distance footpath, passes by a few yards from the cottage.

GUEST REVIEW

"We loved our 2nd stay at the cottage! This will now be a regular trip for us :)
There's so much to see and do around the area, great walks if you take your dog. The new community shop is lovely and I'm already wondering when I can visit next."
